The grant project of the Ministry of Transport, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the support of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in the city of Tashkent. The project is designed to serve as a scalable model that can subsequently be replicated in other cities across the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also seeks to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector and improve the quality of the urban environment.
